You can delete your Sweldo Wise account at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what we keep.

Two ways to delete your account
Option 1: In the app (recommended)
If you can sign in to the app:
- Open Sweldo Wise on your device
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Read the warning, then tap Continue
- Type your email address to confirm
- Enter your password to verify it's really you
- Confirm one final time when asked
You'll be signed out immediately. Your account then enters a 30-day waiting period before it's permanently removed (see "The 30-day grace period" below).
Option 2: By email
If you can't sign in — for example, you lost access to your device or forgot your password — send a deletion request to support@bluenex.org from the email address you used to sign up.
We will:
- Verify the request comes from your registered email
- Confirm the deletion with you by reply
- Complete the deletion within 30 days
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile — name, email, and account credentials
- Your financial data — salary records, expenses, budgets, savings goals, debts, and any scanned receipts
- Your app preferences — categories, settings, and any other choices you made in the app
After the 30-day waiting period ends, this information is gone. We cannot recover it.
What we keep, and for how long
A small amount of information is retained for legal and security reasons:
- An anonymized audit record. A one-line entry confirming the deletion happened, with a timestamp and a one-way hash of your email. A one-way hash is a long random-looking string that can't be reversed back into your email — for example, your address might become something like
b05f18611317ed6618cfe578f44b8cd65d27099bbaeab89ebbb690de9586473d. This record contains no personal details. It exists so we can prove to regulators that your data was deleted if asked. - Encrypted backups. Up to 90 days, after which they are rotated and overwritten. We do not access these backups except in a disaster-recovery situation, and personal data inside them becomes inaccessible after rotation.
We keep nothing else.
The 30-day grace period
When you request deletion in the app, your account enters a 30-day waiting period before permanent deletion. During this time:
- You're signed out immediately and your account stays hidden
- If you sign back in within 30 days, you'll see a banner offering to cancel the deletion and restore your account exactly as it was
- After 30 days, your data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered
This grace period exists to protect you from accidental or coerced deletions. If you change your mind, you have a month to reverse course.
Email-requested deletions (Option 2 above) follow the same 30-day timeline. Cancellation must be requested by replying to our confirmation email before the 30 days are up.
